The Return of Evil (Part Three)

"Hadero" said a voice that cracked with fear, "We are heading straight for a battle!"
The whole camp was buzzing with activity in minutes, Hadero and Hider had gone to see if the scouts report was accurate, they found out that it was inaccurate. The scout had reported a huge battle with thousands of dwarves and goblins everywhere. In fact there were about two hundred goblins and three hundred dwarves.

About night time, the battle ended. The man and elves had come and helped. The dwarves had been fighting because they had been attacked at night by the goblins. The goblins had set fire to their armory and killed one hundred sleeping dwarves, before the dwarves had realised they where being attacked, then the goblins fled.

The next morning the elves and man were preparing to leave when the dwarf leader came to Hadero and asked him,
"Do you want us to come with you?"
"If you like" Hadero replied. The dwarves came with them. It slowed them down because the dwarves could not ride a horse, they rode in the back of their carts dragged by arout's (a arout is a small creature that has powerful legs and muscles.) That night at eight o cloak the party came to a halt.

Hadero was busy at thought. First Dominic had gone of to save villagers, then the dwarves had been attacked by goblins, and by what the King had told him, the Lord Thor had made an alliance with the goblins in the North and was preparing for battle. Solegoth had been quiet but now he had revealed his might. Suddenly he realised with horror the Lord Thor must have made an alliance with Solegoth!
"Hello" said Hider as he came into the tent "Why have you got a worried look on your face?"
"I just realised that Thor and Solegoth have made an alliance" he answered.

"Ranger Killian I need you to go down to Demberg and raise the alarm. Prepare the knights to charge when you hear the horn" said Dominic "I would say there is about two hundred goblins, how much would you say Demberg could raise at short notice?" "About forty, I would say" said a Captain
"We would be out numbered two to one" said a Ranger
"I know it is going to be a risk".

"Eek" said the sentry on duty as the ranger seemed to rise out of the ground "Prepare the men. The goblins are coming! Two hundred of them, hurry up and get the knights ready for battle" said the ranger Killian, then he hurried of to alert the Baron.
