The Return of Evil (Part 2)

Page 2

It was early morning when the Sentry on duty shouted "Forty eleven warriors are riding hard towards us".
"We are being attacked by the evil lord Solegoth" said the elvin leader.
"But Solegoth was defeated at Dollboth in the dreadful battle", said the King.
"There you are wrong your majesty, he was not killed but made powerless. But in the dark land of Stroth he regained his power and is even more powerfull then before. You must come to our aide and help defeat him" said the elvin leader.
"my son Hider will came and help you," replied the King.

"Saddle up men" commanded Hider two hours later "We ride for Hederse" shouted the elvin leader over the sound of hoof beats. For two hours they rode, then they gave their horses a rest and drink of water.
"How far is Hederse?" ask Hider,
"Seven days ride" said Hadero.
"Seven days ride!" said Hider in surprise. "Whereabouts is it?"
"I'll show you at the next rest stop."

They continued to ride hard for eight more hours then they stopped to give the horses a rest. Hider sank gratefully to the ground, he had never ridden so long in his life, yet you would expectant that because he was only seventeen, he has been in battle school for only three years now. He did not think that he was prepared for a battle but his father sent him on this mission, he was going to fight in a battle that not many knights would ever dream of in their lives. Suddenly he realised that someone had just sat down beside him.
"OK this is a map of middle earth" said Hadero "This is where we are right now, first we have to travel around this mountain which leads us into Goblin country. There are three goblin caves near this part of the mountains, one south east, another one north east, and the third one in the mountains which we are most likely to run into. Once a goblin has seen us we will have to fight our way out, on our way here we lost too many" Hadero stopped to think how many good soldiers he had lost on his way here. Then he saw Hider looking at him, waiting for him to continue
"Sorry" he said "We have to go past the mountains then we have to cross this river here, we cannot cross here because it is to deep, we fearSolegoth has dragons on his side".

"Dominic, the goblins are on the move" said a ranger the next morning,
"Why do these goblins move in the daytime?" asked one of the captains
"Because these are goblins from the North" replied Dominic,
"Look the goblins are heading for Demimbeg!" (Demimbeg was a big town with over six hundred people and was one of the Kingdoms best farming places.) It was true the goblins where heading for Demimbeg.
